The first software in Italy for real-time production monitoring
In 1994 the OperaMES software was born with Open Data, a historic Italian software house that develops the first “real-time” production data collection system in Italy in the Opera 3.5 version. The first projects in some manufacturing companies in Emilia-Romagna lay the foundations for a successful MES product.
Opera 4 Millennium, the Windows version complete with all the features for the total management of the factory, was released in 2000. In a short time Opera4 became a market leader, with a team dedicated to the constant development of the product and a team of MES consultants for the implementation of factory management and automation projects.
The decade from 2008 to 2018 definitively marks the
company’s growth and the evolution of the OperaMES product. Starting from Opera 5.0 – with the first web workstations – we move to the Opera 6 full web version that allows us to turn the internationalization project around, creating an international distribution network.
In 2020, OperaMES joined the Zucchetti Group – the first Italian software house for the breadth of its offer on the international market – with the aim of creating a new reality and enhancing the latest OperaMES version 7.
2024 a new corporate identity is born with the union of OpenData with the giant Cybertec S.r.l., a company of excellence for the Digital Supply Chain
